A man wearing a "Make America Corking Again" hat delayed a flying from Shanghai to New Jersey in May 2017 when he insisted that he deserved to accept multiple seats and berated a female passenger, CBS News reported. He was asked to exit the airplane. The incident took on political overtones, a passenger told CBS.

Howard University
Two teenagers stirred upward controversy in 2017 when they wore "Make America Great Again" gear during a visit to Howard Academy, a historically black school, shortly afterwards the white supremacist rally in Charlottesville, Buzzfeed reported. I student took one of the teen's hats, and the girls received critical comments.

'Safe Space'

On Monday, Rebecca Parker Mankey took pictures of a human wearing a MAGA hat, and wrote in a Facebook mail service that she "called the entire Starbucks to order and yelled at him."
"He will never forget me and volition think seriously about wearing that chapeau in my town e'er again," she wrote. "If you come across him in this hat, delight confront him. You practice non want to exist the person who didn't speak up as we slipped into fascism."
Her Facebook post was widely shared and derided past conservatives, and her account has since been deactivated.

A twenty-four hour period afterward, Palo Alto music store Gryphon Strings announced that Mankey had lost her job.
"Gryphon does not believe anyone should be harassed or discipline to detest speech no matter their beliefs," the store wrote in a Tuesday Facebook post. "Music has historically been something that has brought people of diverse socio-political backgrounds together."
The man wearing the lid, identified only every bit Victor, told NBC Bay Area that Mankey called him a "Nazi" and tried to become other Starbucks customers to shame him.
"This woman comes over, and she says, 'Is that a Trump hat?' I said, 'I remember it is, yes.' And then she turned to the rest of the audience, the people in Starbucks and said, 'Hey, everybody! Come up over here! Let's get this guy! He's a hater! I'grand calling him out! He hates brown people. He's a Nazi,'" Victor said.

In her Facebook mail, Mankey wrote that Victor threatened to call the cops, and said she encouraged him to exercise and then.
"[I] Wanted him to phone call the police force considering I wanted to know his proper noun, where he lived, his married woman'due south proper name, and where kids went to schoolhouse," she wrote.
Mankey, who said she was "built-in and bred" in Palo Alto, told the Palo Alto Weekly that she and her family have received death threats later the incident.
